THE STUDIO KL COLLECTION

In designing the STUDIO KL collection, there was no better place to look for creative inspiration than in KARL’s own archive. From tuxedo dresses to pantsuits and blazers, the capsule replicates some of Karl Lagerfeld’s most iconic designs from the 1990s — updated for today with fresh silhouettes, cuts and fabrics.

STYLES TO COVET

The STUDIO KL collection features two black tuxedo jackets with asymmetrical lapels, tailored black trousers, a black cut-out dress, and a playful tie accessory that clips around the neck. There’s also a versatile cape-jacket and matching pinstripe trousers, plus a timeless white shirt, a piqué mini skirt and faux leather leggings.

The capsule has been curated by Carine Roitfeld, Style Advisor of the Maison KARL LAGERFELD, and designed by Hun Kim, the brand’s Design Director.

INSPIRED BY THE ARCHIVE

“Instead of looking for seasonal inspiration elsewhere, we found it right here in Karl’s archive,” says Hun Kim, Design Director of KARL LAGERFELD. “Karl was always one step ahead; he was so intuitive and forward-thinking. Looking back on his most memorable designs, and interpreting them for today, is a beautiful way to honour his legacy.”
